Kean University Library Research Guides

Greetings to everyone in the Kean University Community.  Happy 2010, and welcome back to an exciting new semester!  As a special treat this year, the library is now offering Kean University Research Guides online!  For those of you unfamiliar with our new research guides, here’s a brief introduction:

Kean University Library Research Guides

Library Research Guides are available on a variety of different subjects!

Kean University Library is pleased to announce the formal launch of a collection of online Research Guides. These subject-focused research resources are accessible to the Kean community through the Kean University Library home page. Librarians are using this Web 2.0 knowledgesharing system to provide a quick and easy way for students and faculty to explore the resources (including books, e-books, and databases) that the Library has on a broad range of subjects, ranging from Accounting to Theatre. Through the Research Guides, librarians also provide recommendations for relevant Web sites as well as resources to help students acknowledge sources through appropriate citation styles.

We invite the Kean community to explore what the Research Guides have to offer by visiting, then clicking the Research Guides button. In particular, we invite Kean faculty to provide links to specific research guides within the Blackboard course management system or on their course syllabi. If you have questions about the Research Guides, please contact the University Librarian at 908-737-4600.

Thank you, and hope you have a great new semester, and a great year! 🙂
